The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD), sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, is supported by the people of the United States. This international educational and cultural exchange program brings future leaders to the United States to experience the U.S. educational system, enhance their knowledge and skills, and explore U.S. culture and values. It also affords students the opportunity to educate Americans about other cultures and traditions.

The U.S. Department of State and World Learning are pleased to announce the open competition for the Global UGRAD Program for undergraduates for the 2015-2016 Program. Participants will be selected for academic excellence, leadership potential, proficiency in written and spoken English, and flexibility to be an exchange student.

ICAMES (International Cultural and Academic Meeting of Engineering Students) is an international, academic, scientific and cultural project competition that is held in May annually by the Engineering Society (ENSO) of Bogazici University.

ICAMES, of which the 21th will be held this year, welcomes all engineering projects that are in advanced level. We do not only have an academic workshop, but also various activities introducing different countries and cultures to each other. In addition to the project presentations, activities such as the "Culture Night" about the participating countries, Bosphorus and city tours, Turkish Night, bowling tournaments, Quiz Shows, sports tournaments and a Final Music Concert are included in the ICAMES program as well.

The St. Gallen Symposium is a global gathering of Leaders of Today and Tomorrow that takes place annually in May at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. It is organised by the International Students’ Committee (ISC), a team of students from the university. The 45th St. Gallen Symposium will take place from 7–8 May 2015 at the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland.

Our goal is to provide a setting for relevant debates between Leaders of Today and Tomorrow on topics of management, politics and civil society.

The Petro Jacyk Educational Foundation is pleased to announce the competition for the annual Petro Jacyk Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Ukrainian Politics, Culture and Society, to be held at The Centre for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies (CERES) at the University of Toronto. The objective of the Fellowship is to support the most promising junior scholars studying contemporary Ukraine and thereby advance academic understanding of Ukrainian politics, culture, and society.

The Petro Jacyk Educational Foundation manages the competition and is responsible for making the award, on the basis of advice from a selection committee composed of scholars who study Ukraine. Every year, the BGHS invites doctoral researchers from other countries to work at the Graduate School for four months to promote international scientific and cultural exchange. Visiting fellows have the opportunity to use their stay at the BGHS to work intensively on their dissertation, visit degree programme courses and build contacts to our scientific community. Fellows receive a computer work station for the duration of their stipend.

Students and scientists in the field of humanities, social sciences and law may apply for studing and researching in Viadrina European university before December, 5, 2014. Every stay is provided by full fellowship in the project`s HERMES (Erasmus Mundus Action 2) frames/

The grant program is financed by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy (BMWFW). Students and young researchers from foreign universities are invited to apply for this grant to come to Austria for a research or a study stay. Age limit for this grant program is 35 years at the time of the application

University Grants allow young professionals to fully develop the skills needed for the future career success in the following areas: teaching, public activity, business, science researches.

The grant covers not only the full cost of tuition, but also provides scholarship.

The IPODI Fellowship Programme is open to outstanding researchers of all nationalities and from all fields of research represented at the TU Berlin.

Conditions for application:

  1. -Applicants must have at least two and not more than ten years of research experience after obtaining their doctoral degree, in exceptional cases an extension of up to three years is possible,
  2. -Applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies etc.) in Germany for more than 12 months in the three years prior to the call deadline,
  3. -The research proposal has to be supported by a cooperating professor of the TU Berlin.

The public organization “Center of Social Leadership” is conducting an international forum “The Best Social Projects of Ukraine” on October 30 – 31, 2014 in Kyiv.
During the forum there will be:

We congratulate combined team of track and field athletic of Chernihiv National University of Technologies with successful performance on competition of track-and-field race “Children – Olympic hope of Ukraine”. October 10, 2014, our students took the second place among universities’ teams.

Registration for the tournament "codearena international" for programmers ends on October 15. This is the first enrollment of international competition. The purpose of the meeting is creating artificial intelligence, which will be better than the rival’s one. The first prize is $ 1,000.

The tournament is for experienced programmers, computer science students, and all of the programming fans. The programming language is arbitrary, and all interested persons who want to try their hands at creating artificial intelligence can participate in the tournament. The competitive challenge is to write an algorithm that, running in the CodeCraft, will beat the rest of the tournament scripts.

On September 10th, activists of voluntary center “Faith” from Chernihiv National University of Technologies visited sanatorium “Ostrech”, city Mena, where are 66 inner moved persons from antiterrorist operation’s area (Donetsk and Luhansk region).

The students-volonteers donated social-humanitarian aid: the warm clothes, shoes, stationary for children. It was gathered with community organization “Chance”, United voluntary center of Chernihiv, Department in the matter of family, youth and sport of Chernihiv Regional State Administration, Chernihiv regional center of social services for family, children and youth.

The students of Chernihiv National University of Technology met with L.K.Kadenyuk, the first cosmonaut of independent Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine.

The university vice-rector V.V. Kazymyr came out with welcome speech. Then there was an interesting and informative conversation about advanced scientific development and modern technical ideas.

All-Ukrainian charity organization "Victor Pinchuk Foundation - Social Initiative" as part of the charity program "Scholarship program "Zavtra.UA" holds an open competition for the selection of the most talented and motivated students from leading higher educational institutes of Ukraine.

This competition is open to students from 3 - 6 courses with full time education, citizens of Ukraine.

Reception and registration of documents is from 20 October – to 30 November 2014.

No wonder people say that there are no other's children. Organizers of charity event “From Youth To Children” have been working based on this principle for many years. They are - Stanislav Padalytsya (co-owner of the restaurant complex "Chardash"), Vladislav Horbyk (director of private transport enterprise "Vladis"), volunteers from student’s social service and volunteer center "Dovira" from faculty of social work of Education and Research Institute of Law and Social Technologies from Chernihiv National University of Technology, methodologists from department of inclusive education Chernihiv Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education named by KD Ushynsʹkyy and leaders of non-governmental organizations "Shans" and " Zhmenya."

On October 7, 2014, these not indifferent people made a real feast for 26 small " forced migrants " from the anti-terrorist operation zone who find themselves in such difficult for our country times, without parent support and care in the sanatorium "Ladynka."

Visegrad Scholarship Program (VSP) is a special program of the Visegrad Fund, which was established to promote academic exchange through financial assistance for students and researchers, citizens of the countries, members of the Visegrad group: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, as well as foreign citizens.

On 23-25 September 2014 the Department of Industrial Electronics of Chernihiv National University of Technology hosted Stage II All-Ukrainian Students’ Olympiad of Electronics.

The competition was attended by teams from the universities of different cities of Ukraine such as Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, etc.

Based on the results of the competition the following individual prizes were awarded:

First prize: Morhun Artem, student of NTU "KPI", Kyiv.
Second prize: Malchenkov Sergei,student of Sumy State Umiversity, Sumy.
Third prize: Svyatnyy Eugene, student of Chernihiv National University of Technology, Chernigov.

In the team event championship team received Chernigov National Technological University in the following composition: Svyatnyy Eugene, gr. ME-101, Tereh Oleg, gr. ME-091, Vasil Vorobey, gr. ME-091.

The Exchange Program for high school students (UGRAD) is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs U.S. Department of State. It is supported by the people of the United States. The Exchange Program for students gives the opportunity to undergraduate students of full-time universities in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Moldova, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan to spend one academic year / semester in universities or two-year or four-year community college.
